Currently we are looking for applicants for the following positions:
Web 2.0 Development
Part of our product is a Web 2.0 service to keep a personal semantic wiki. We are looking for a person who realizes this Web 2.0 service. There is an existing architecture which will be transformed, and we have a strong requirement for interoperability based on the W3C Semantic Web standards (RDF). You have created a Web 2.0 application before, and you know how to keep the site fast, up, and satisfying for the users? You know that Ruby-On-Rails can be good, Python scales on GAE, or building on an open source php CMS can save time? You know how to get things done and how to tell others how things should be done? You want to discuss decisions within a team to reach high quality results?
You will be responsible for:
- designing the architecture and building the web application.
- running a scalable web 2.0 service.
- making sure that design and usability are excellent.
You will work together with a product manager, developers, product designers, and a partner network. You will work in a team of experienced people: you will learn a lot from us and we hope to learn a lot from you too.
Semantic Desktop Developer
Part of the product is a semantic desktop platform to keep a personal information model that integrates desktop data, like files, contacts, and e-mail messages. We search for a person who programs desktop applications. There is an existing architecture which will be transformed, and we have a strong requirement for interoperability based on the W3C Semantic Web standards (RDF). You have developed usable desktop applications and services before? You know how to make it run smoothly on Windows, OS X, and Linux with one codebase? You are aware of a number of frameworks that enable rapid development of desktop applications? You know how to get things done and how to tell others how things should be done? You want to discuss decisions within a team to reach high quality results?
You will be responsible for:
- designing and shaping the architecture of a semantic desktop service.
- designing and implementing applications and plugins based on this service.
- making sure that design and usability are excellent.
You will work together with a product manager, developers, product designers, and a partner network. You will work in a team of experienced people: you will learn a lot from us and we hope to learn a lot from you.
The catch is...
