Currently we are looking for applicants for the following positions:
Chief Financial Officer
We build and deliver a state of the art Web 2.0 application which uses Semantic Web features and helps professionals and businesses to speed up their processes. To do this, we are spending money, and we have to keep track of our expenses and need to look out for new investments and public funding.
We are looking for a person who loves to build a business. Investors have to be contacted, our current expenses have to be booked and managed, new sources for money have to be found, and the flow of money from our customers to us has to be managed. You love startups, enterpreneurship, numbers, cashflow statements, finance planning, presenting finance plans and discussing term sheets with investors? You know the ups and downs of paying employees and contractors? You have experience writing proposals for public funding (Förderungen)? You know how to get things done and how to tell others how things should be done? You want to discuss decisions within a team to reach high quality results? You may have worked in this area, you want to do something new? You just worked in your first job but you are eager to do this job now? You have worked in a technology company before and know how exciting it is to build and sell software?
You will be responsible for:
- opening new money sources for our business.
- negotiating term sheets with investors.
- setting up the legal structures needed to make the money flow.
- shaping the financial structure of our business.
You will work together with our CTO, CEO, and marketing director. You will work in a team, learn from us and we expect to learn a lot from you, too.
The catch is...
We are a dynamic startup with limited capital backing yet. You will start with no or a limited income but obtain shares in the company or deferred payments.
