We are shutting Refinder down

With a sad eye we announce today: We are shutting down. We did not see the uptake in usage and growth that would be needed to run this Software company as a profitable business.

The last few years at Gnowsis have been very valuable years for us. Now we conclude our journey. For users of Refinder, this means:

If you are looking for a present for your mom for mother's day, get inspired by Refinder. I searched through my cloud services for my mom and found Google Calendar entries and notes, giving me a good idea what to do next.

I used Refinder to search for my mom - to get a quick inspiration what I could give her for mother's day. The most results came when searching for "mama", which is what I write down when I speak of her in my Google Calendar, Dropbox, and Evernote(s).

Export your data from Refinder for Teams

There is a new feature in "Refinder for Teams": exporting your data. You get a ZIP file containing all uploaded files and data you entered into Refinder.

The data is contained in one big XML file, which you can use to extract the data you need. Files will be included in the export. To get started, click on your account and export your data:

Windows Explorer and Microsoft Outlook used to be the daily hotspot for most knowledge workers.
